BunnyKnots
Rules
- Consent, consent, consent
- Do not touch anyone or anything that does not belong to you without express permission!
- Consent must be enthusiastic. If someone seems unsure or hesitates, it's a no.
- If you are told no do not ask again anytime soon. Pressuring people is considered harassment.
- "No" is a complete sentence - no one owes you an explanation.
- If you take photos do so only with the permission of the person/people being photographed, and do not get anyone else in the background. If posting photos online get express permission from everyone in the photo to do so.
- Do not out people!
- If you saw someone at another munch or event and see them again at a BunnyKnots event, do not bring up where you saw them in front of other people. You do not know what that person wants to be public or private about themselves.
- If someone tells you personal information about themselves, keep it to yourself! Do not assume everyone knows that information.
- If you see someone on the street or in a grocery store with others, do not greet them. They may not want to have to answer questions about how they know you.
- Call people by the name they use to introduce themselves. If you know another name for them keep it to yourself. Using their real name, for example, is a form of outing people.
- Leave your drama at the door. We are here to play with and learn about rope, not to argue over something that happened last week at a munch.
- If you have an issue that arose at a BunnyKnots event, or have a problem with BunnyKnots leadership, we will do everything we can to resolve the situation. Otherwise please deal with it on your own time.
- If you have a non-BunnyKnots related issue with another member and want to request help in mediating the dispute, we may be willing to try to help as an impartial third party, at our discretion. But please be polite in asking and accept a possible "no" if we do not think we can help given your unique circumstances.
- Don't be creepy. Flirting is allowed until you start making people uncomfortable. If in doubt ask explicit consent to flirt with the person in question.
- No smoking or vaping of any kind indoors. The smoking area/guidelines will be included with the house rules sent out before each event.
- If you make a mistake, apologize. We're all human, we all screw up from time to time.
- PRICK (Personally Responsible Informed Consensual Kink) rules are followed at BunnyKnots. It basically comes down to make sure you are aware of the risks, both of the activity you are taking part in as well as the experience level of your partners. Don't assume people are going to volunteer this information; ask questions, do research.
