In various locations. We try to have at least two events a month at different venues. These locations tend to be people's private homes who are generous enough to host for us. Because these are private residences we only give out the address to people who have been vetted and indicate they plan to attend.
Currently we have three event locations:
I hope you do choose to join us, but in the end only you can answer that question.
If there are people at a BunnyKnots event without a partner I will try my best to pair you with someone. But I can't force people to be willing to tie with you. If we have too many bottoms and not enough tops, or vise versa, I cannot magically wave my hand and make that change.
I cannot guarantee you a partner if you come alone.
That said, more often than not partners are found for people. And even if not I do intentionally label these as rope socials, not rope classes. There is plenty of time to socialize with others, and I sincerely hope you will enjoy yourself even if you don't get to tie or be tied that particular day.
It is split between the venue hosting us, the people leading class time for the night, and the facilitator. It's worth noting that some venues choose to host us for free. (Thank you! ❤️). In that case we discount the entry fee and split the money between our educators and facilitator.
There is no connection between these organizations. The two are separate and independently run.
For various reasons not everyone can, or is willing to, attend Happy Kitten Rope Jams. BunnyKnots brings Rope events to different locations in the area, which may be easier for some people to get to, and at different times/days.
As long as people continue to show interest BunnyKnots will continue to schedule events.
At this point BunnyKnots has no connection to the K.N.O.T.S. discussion group on Fetlife, other than the fact it happens to be our former home.
BunnyKnots events originally operated under the name K.N.O.T.S., and made use of the K.N.O.T.S. discussion group on Fetlife. However that discussion group was actually owned by a club in Slidell, despite the fact BunnyKnots ran the group. When we made the decision to stop scheduling rope events at that club the owner chose not to allow us to use the discussion group anymore. We then officially changed our event names to BunnyKnots in an attempt to avoid confusion.
